Founded in 1980, the Potomac Boundary Advisors Association is an organization comprised of Police Officers
and Sheriffs' Deputies who serve as their agency's law enforcement exploring program advisors. Members of the PBAA work
together to enhance the level of programming provided to their explorers.
Hundreds of law enforcement explorers benefit from programming provided by the
PBAA. With agencies from Central and Southern Maryland, Northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia, explorers are
introduced to several different styles of policing.
Programming includes leadership seminars, social activities and para-military style
boot camps. Explorers build life-long friendships and establish valuable contacts with other agencies that aid them as they
prepare to enter a career in law enforcement.
